Privacy policy

Thank you for your interest in our company. Protecting your personal data is important to us. Below, we inform you pursuant to Art. 13 und 14 der Datenschutz-Grundverordnung (DSGVO) about the processing of personal data in connection with the use of this website.

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

Wieland Gebäudereinigung GmbH Salzstr. 14 31303 Burgdorf Telephone: (05136) 977 01 40 Email: info@wieland-service.de

2. General information on data processing

As a rule, we process our users’ personal data only insofar as this is necessary to provide a functioning website and our content and services. The legal bases are, in particular, Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO (consent), lit. b (contract/pre-contractual measures), lit. c (legal obligation) and lit. f (legitimate interest). Personal data is deleted as soon as the purpose for storing it no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website and our internal management system (“Wieland OS”), in which enquiries, applications and newsletter subscriptions are processed, run on a server rented by us from Host Europe GmbH, Hansestraße 111, 51149 Köln, in a data centre in Germany. Each time the website is accessed, information transmitted by your browser is automatically recorded in server log files:

Browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, page accessed, time of the server request and IP address. This data is not combined with other data sources; the log files are deleted after a short period. The legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and security of the website). A data processing agreement (AVV) pursuant to Art. 28 DSGVO is in place with Host Europe or will be concluded.

4. SSL or TLS encryption

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” and the padlock symbol in your browser’s address bar.

5. Cookies and local storage

Our website does not set cookies or integrate any services that track you across websites. A cookie banner is therefore not required.

In your browser’s storage (localStorage), we store only what you select yourself: your preferred display mode (light, dark or automatic) and whether you have closed our newsletter notice or subscribed to the newsletter, so that the notice is not displayed to you again. This information does not leave your device and can be deleted at any time via your browser settings. The legal basis is § 25 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 TDDDG (strictly necessary for a service you have requested) or Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

6. Contacting us (contact and callback forms, email)

If you contact us via a contact form, email or telephone, your details (e.g. name, email address, telephone number, message) will be stored to process your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO (entering into/performing a contract) or Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). We do not share this data without your consent and will delete it once the enquiry has been fully dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.

This also applies to our callback form (which requests your company, name, telephone number, email address and preferred callback time). The information submitted through our forms is transmitted in encrypted form to our management system, “Wieland OS”, on our server and stored there so that we can process enquiries reliably. It is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for processing and no statutory retention obligations prevent its deletion.

7. Applications (online application form)

You can apply to work with us using our online application form. We process the data you provide (in particular your name, email address, telephone number, date of birth, address, information about your driving licence and the type of employment you are seeking, as well as your message) and any application documents you upload. Processing is carried out for the purposes of the recruitment process on the basis of Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO in conjunction with § 26 BDSG.

Your application and documents are transmitted in encrypted form to our management system, “Wieland OS”, on our server and stored there; access is restricted to those involved in the recruitment process (management). If your application is rejected or withdrawn, your data and documents are automatically deleted after six months, unless statutory retention obligations apply or you have expressly consented to longer storage. If you are hired, the necessary information will be transferred to your personnel file.

8. Newsletter

You can subscribe to our newsletter or our jobs newsletter (new vacancies) on our website. For this purpose, we process your email address, the times of your subscription and confirmation, and the wording of your consent. We use a double opt-in process: after subscribing, you will receive an email with a confirmation link; you will only be added to the mailing list once you have confirmed. We delete unconfirmed subscriptions after 30 days. Subscribers are managed in our management system on our server, and newsletters are sent through our own email account; no data is transferred to external newsletter service providers or to third countries. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO, which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future (for example, via the unsubscribe link in every newsletter).

9. Spam protection without third-party providers

We do not use third-party services to protect our forms against automated submissions. Instead, our server checks, among other things, a form field that is invisible to humans, the time between opening and submitting the form, and the number of submissions per IP address within a short period. For this purpose, the IP address is processed only briefly in working memory and is not stored permanently. The legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (legitimate interest in protection against misuse).

10. Fonts (hosted locally)

This website uses fonts stored locally on our server to ensure a consistent appearance. As a result, accessing the website does not establish a connection to third-party servers (such as Google); no personal data is transferred to third parties in this respect.

11. Social media profiles

Our website contains links to our profiles on social networks (such as Facebook and Instagram). Data is only transferred to the respective providers when you actively click on the icon and are redirected to the relevant network. The respective providers are responsible for processing your data on their platforms; please refer to their privacy notices.

12. Your rights as a data subject

You have the following rights in relation to us regarding your personal data:

The right of access (Art. 15 DSGVO), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing (Art. 21). You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 Abs. 3 DSGVO). To exercise your rights, simply contact us using the contact details above; no particular form is required.

13. Right to object (Art. 21 DSGVO)

Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (legitimate interest), you have the right to object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. Where data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you may object at any time without giving reasons.

14. Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data. The authority responsible for us is:

Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen Prinzenstraße 5, 30159 Hannover www.lfd.niedersachsen.de

15. Map display

Our contact page shows a simplified sketch of our location without an embedded map. You will only be redirected to OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom) when you click on “Open map”; their privacy policy applies there.

16. Validity and changes to this privacy policy

This privacy policy is currently valid. Further development of our website or changes to statutory or regulatory requirements may make it necessary to amend this privacy policy.
